busy (fun!!!) summer days....

Hello everyone, here I am again. Summer sure has been fun, and Mom has come up with all sorts of things for me to do. The days have been very hot, and we are so lucky to be living beside a lake, because it means lots of swim time for all of us. Sometimes, I am not so sure of swimming, but if Mom is going to be in the lake...










Well, you just have to know that I need to be with her.












And each time that I do swim, I get better and better at it. I really do like to swim, I just need to get the knack of it. On hot summer days, the water sure feels good!!!!










Dad got the pen set up in the back yard of the farmhouse, now, we are all "free" to play. I love to race with all the cockers....











I love to race!!! (even by myself!!!)












But, the summer isn't just about playing.. Mom and I have our "work" to do as well. We have been traveling, going to dog school.. on our public outings.. and even doing "speaking engagements" (as Mom calls them). Last week, we spoke to the Fellowship group from church, there was a large turn out.







They all see us in church most every week, but many of the folks didn't know much about NEADS.. or about the training that Mom and I do together. So, Mom explained what NEADS does and then what we do together, and all the things that I need to know before I return for my "college" education.









I am a very good listener when Mom speaks (and I take advantage of some cuddle time)











Or quietly lay at her feet while she talks. I like the attention that I get after her "speeches"... just need to wait for her to finish....



The summer is passing quickly, Mom knows that when the fall arrives, we will be looking at a turn in date for me... but for now, we are so enjoying this time together....
